Manly Beach to Shelly Beach Walk

I cannot say for certain that there was a shark sighting, as I did not see it with my own eyes, but apparently there was one in the general vicinity of this photo. Also, I figured the caption was enough to grab people's attention! :D

I am in Manly Beach, staying at a hostel, which is an interested experience in and of itself... looking for a job, friends and people to travel with!

I have met people from nearly every corner of the globe, which is very cool! Many people are in a more precarious situation than I, with English as their second language - so I keep telling myself, "if they can do this, so can I!" Although, at times it seems that is easier said than done.

This place is beautiful, the people are so pleasant and hospitable and I am looking forward to what's ahead. There is a gentleman who lives at the hostel who is going to take some of us hostel residents out snorkeling once the winds are favorable - the marine life in this area is supposed to be spectacular!

Yesterday, I went into Sydney and walked around the botanical gardens, the Sydney Museum and the Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art - all of which had their own special characteristics.

This weekend I am taking to hiking, so I will check back in then!

Ciao for now!

I left San Francisco on February 5th, 2018 for the less-known [to me] parts of Australia. I obtained my working holiday visa, which allows me 12 months to work and roam, as I please. I am without plans, which is sure to make for an exhilarating experience. Good, bad or indifferent, I know this experience will be one I take with me wherever the road may lead.
